The mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems were designed to meet the Owners requirements.
The mechanical systems consist of Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system with indoor fan coils and outdoor heat pumps for the administration areas. There are Dedicated Outside Air systems for the VRF and lab areas to provide 100% outside air. In addition, design for laboratory fume hoods and fume hood exhaust fans. The building has a direct Digital Controls (DDC) system.
Electrical design included power and lighting for the building and site. Design for electric vehicle charging locations and photovoltaic panel locations.
Plumbing design included sanitary sewer system, domestic water piping and specialty water (DI) for the lab area.
