A historic building and active church in mid-town Sacramento had a hydronic change-over system that reached the end of its useful life and was in need of replacement. Peters Engineering found a solution that satisfied the current energy regulations without modifying the 100-year old brick building. Peters Engineering and ABM met several times to implement the measures with constructability concerns without interrupting the daily functions of the church. The building received a new air-cooled chiller, high efficiency boiler, pumps piping and controls. The project came in on time, under budget and the end user is very happy with their new system.
