BUILDING CHILLER REPLACEMENT

The 18-story building owned by PG&E and occupied by the U.S. Immigration Service, U.S. Customs Enforcement and a series of federal courts was experiencing frequent failures of their aging HVAC systems. Peters Engineering and ABM did extensive research on the building and made a series of recommendations that included the replacement of a rooftop Chiller, piping modifications and rezoning for redundancy in critical spaces. Together, we collaborated on not just the systems but the logistics of replacing heavy equipment on a high-rise building in a densely populated urban center.
