MECHANICAL AND PLUMBING SYSTEM DESIGN

The mechanical and plumbing systems were designed to meet the latest HCAI 3 code requirements. The mechanical systems consist of large, built-up air handlers, DX cooling, rooftop condensing units, Hot Water Heating coil, and Constant Air Volume units with CAV boxes. In addition, all the required areas to be exhausted were routed through an energy recovery unit. The building has a direct Digital Controls (DDC) system. Hot water plant and pipe distribution consist of a boiler plant with redundant boiler and pump design. Plumbing design included sanitary waste & vent, domestic cold & hot water, and piping.
