PE - Principal & Mechanical Engineer
Sean R. Tichenor
From the age of 10, I enjoyed taking things apart to figure out how they worked. Six short years later, I was working as a mechanical drafter and was introduced to the design world of HVAC & Plumbing. From then on, becoming a mechanical engineer was all I wanted.
Today’s world doesn’t just dictate that we design systems to reduce energy; it demands it. It’s imperative that HVAC & plumbing systems meet owner needs as well as reduce energy and the engineer needs to consider how the design interacts with the building to achieve this goal.
I am a strong believer in the team approach to engineering design and enjoy the interaction and collaborative nature of my job. It’s never a long day for a man who enjoys his job.

PE - Electrical Engineer
I grew up on a cattle ranch, but installing five miles of fence in hard red clay during the drought of 1977 convinced me that there had to be a better way to make a living.
In college, I worked full time for a major grocery store chain learning the value of customer service, which I consider an important aspect in providing engineering services to our clients.
During that same time I worked part time in "ground-up" home construction where I poured foundations, as well as performed framing, wiring and finishing. After graduation, I became a Pump Station Superintendent for a major irrigation district serving Glenn and Colusa counties where I performed electrical maintenance and construction of pumping, power generating and conveyance facilities.
These experiences provided me with the expertise and work ethic that I apply to the electrical engineering services we provide to clients every day.
